Our client in Torrance, CA is looking to interview and hire candidates for a shipping clerk position. This is a first shift position and will be based on experience.
- Track the merchandise leaving and entering the warehouse.
- Create shipping documents, such as invoices and purchase orders.
- Pull inventory from the shelves.
- Monitor each shipment to make sure that outgoing packages are packed correctly.
- Print shipping labels, schedule pick-ups, and ensure that each package has the proper postage.
- Perform inventory control and track a shipment’s delivery status.
- Use RF scanners, scales, tracking devices, and label makers as needed.
